Meet on arrival at Hanoi/Noi Bai International Airport and transfer to Sunway Hotel or similar for check in. City tour; visit Temple of Literature, built in the 11th century as Vietnam’s first university, Fine Art Museum and Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Dinner at local restaurant. Evening : Water puppet show, the unique Vietnamese traditional art.

Breakfast at hotel. Discover Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon descending to the sea“ as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong Bay has more than 3,000 limestone islets rising from the clear emerald water, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. A 5-hour boat trip will visit one grotto, then continue to explore more of these wonders of creation.
Seafood lunch on board. Drive back to Hanoi. Dinner and accommodation at Hotel.

Breakfast at hotel. Visit morning market, National Cultural Ethnic Park, Friendship Bridge and Buddha Park.
Lunch at local restaurant. Transfer to the airport for flight to Luang Prabang. Depart Vientiane by QV 103. Upon arrival Luang Prabang, transfer to Hotel for check in. Followed by visit to Wat Phousy on the top of the hill overlooking the Mekong River. Dinner at Vouthmixay restaurant.

Visit Wat Xieng Thong, the most beautiful temple, then take the traditional boat trip upstream on the Mekong River to visit the famous caves of Pak-Ou, located at the side of the steep cliff on the bank of the Mekong River housing hundreds of Buddha statues. Pic-nic lunch. Visit en route local rice-wine distillery and Ban Phanom weaving village.
