Day 1
BANGKOK - AYUTHAYA - BANG PA IN
08:00 Departure from your hotel and travel by air-conditioned mini-bus to Ayuthaya. Upon arrival, visit to the archeological site of the once glorious capital, Ayuthaya. Lunch at local restaurant and then travel to Bang-Pa-In by long-tail boat to explore the Summer Palace. After this visit, your guide will drop you off at the pier nearby to board on the Mekhala.
14:30 Start cruising downstream, captivatiting the spectacular views of rural life along the “River of King”. Just after the sunset, the Mekhala docks at Wat Kai Tia, a Thai temple set in a tranquil rural village. An exquisite candlelit dinner of Thai cuisine is served on the deck. Overnight on board in your air-conditioned cabin.

MEKHALA - BANGKOK
An option for alms offering to monk can be made prior to a delicious breakfat served on board, cruise down the river to Bangkok, passing spectacular views of the Grand Palace and the Temple of Dawn. Arrive Bangkok in the late morning and transfer to your hotel.
