Itinerary : Your Tour Program

Day 1 Kuala Lumpur � Belum Forest 07.00 hrs Begin the journey from the city of Kuala Lumpur or Penang and drive northwards to Banding. 12.30 hrs Your adventure begins once you arrive at Banding Lake. You�ll be transferred by speedboat into the depths of the biggest block of rainforest in Peninsular Malaysia. As soon as you arrive at the Boathouse Base Station, check-in to the dormitory. 13.00 hrs Lunch 14.00 hrs Briefing and board the speedboat to visit the Orang Asli village. You�ll have first hand contact with the �Orang Aslis� (the indigenous people) to learn all about their ingenuity and the rainforest they call home. 16.00 hrs Back to Boathouse Base Station. Tea Break 16.30 hrs Proceed for a kayaking trip or take a dip at the surrounding area. 19.00 hrs Dinner 20.30 hrs Short Introduction Presentation of Belum Forest 22.00 hrs Supper Stargazing at the viewing deck (if the weather permits) Free and easy / Good Night

Day 2 Belum Forest 07.30 hrs Morning call 08.00 hrs Breakfast 09.30 hrs Speedboat transfer to Base Camp View the impressive Temenggor Dam, marvel at the Limestone Outcrops and see the floating bamboo houses. 13.00 hrs Lunch 13.30 hrs Briefing and followed by trekking to Rafflesia site (you will be accompanied by a highly experienced Orang Asli guide and impromptu stops will be made along the way to observe animal tracks and signs and also to see various plants, some of which is endemic) You�ll encounter a series of river crossing along the way. 14.30 hrs Arrive at the Rafflesia site where you can see and understand how the Rafflesia thrives in its natural habitat and if you�re lucky, you�ll be one of the privileged few to see its magnificent bloom. 15.00 hrs Trek back to base camp. 15.30 hrs Arrival at Base Camp / Tea Time. You should book the sightseeing tour at least 2 days before the tour date (Monday - Friday). However, it will depend on the tour availability too.

Print your tour voucher and present it to our guide who will pick you up at the hotel lobby on your travel date.
