Itinerary : Your Tour Program
Day 1  ARRIVAL - SIEM REAP - ANGKOR TEMPLES On arrival at Siem Riep Airport, you are met and transferred to hotel. The town of Siem Reap is our base for exploring the world famous temples of the ancient city Angkor, which was the capital of the powerful Khmer Empire from 802 AD to 1350 AD. This stunning and extensive site sprawls through the dense jungle, over an area of 60 square miles. The intricately carved temples date back from the 11th to 13th centuries although some are even older. After checking into hotel we drive to the archeological area to visit the Roluos Group of temples including Lo Lei, Preah Ko, Bakong. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 2  SIEM REAP - ANGKOR TEMPLES Today we continue exploring the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King. The largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat is not to be missed. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and cover an area of about 210 hectares. We stroll around this massive structure, seeing the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 3  SIEM REAP - ANGKOR TEMPLES The jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature. We explore this masterpiece as well as some of the surrounding temples including Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang, Ta Keo, Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda. The grand circuit with Preah Khan, Kravan, Neak Pean, Krol Ko, Ta Som, East Mebon and Pre Rup Temples, is also visited this afternoon before we walk up to Phnom Bakheng Hill for a view of the spectacular sunset over these sandstone monuments. Day 4  SIEM REAP - ANGKOR TEMPLES - BANTAEY SREY Heading out of the town we drive on a newly paved road past the Preah Dark village to the intricately carved and well preserved temple of Banteay Srei. After seeing this beautiful landmark we continue driving through the rugged mountain scenery to Kbal Spean, known as the River of 1000 Lingas. A view over the riverbed carvings is impressive. The next stop of our trip is Banteay Srei we continue to the Banteay Samre Temple which is adorned with impressive reliefs depicting scenes of Vishunu as well as Krishna legends. Today we also have time to take a leisurely boat trip on Cambodia�s biggest natural lake of Tonle Sap. This is a wonderful experience as we pass by floating village, friendly children in small boats and fishermen at work. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 5  SIEM REAP - DEPARTURE There is free time for your own exploration of the town and strolling around the shopping area. The trip ends after your transfer to Siem Reap Airport for departure.
