Itinerary : Your Tour Program

Day 1 Morning departs from hotel by road for the Kinabalu Park, traversing the Crocker Range with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. A brief stop at a native market and on to the Park. Upon arrival register for the climb and transfer to the Timpohon Gate (starting point of climb) to begin ascent. No special mountaineering skills are required but a certain level of physical fitness is essential. A tough hike through the changing forest scene will end at Laban Rata (3345m) for the night. Overnight stay at Laban Rata resthouse dormitories.

Day 2 The summit (4095.2m) trek begins in the dark hours of the morning (3:00am) in time to catch the glorious sunrise (if weather permits). Begin decent before the morning mist rolls in. Breakfast at Laban Rata resthouse and continue to Timpohon Gate where climbers will be picked up at 2:00pm and transfer back to the Park for lunch. Leave the Park at 4:00pm and journey back to Kota Kinabalu.
