THE BEDUGUL TRAIL
This excursion leads deep into the rural heartland of Bali, in search of its natural charm and scenic beauty. After a short stop at the Royal temple of Mengwi, the tour leads first to the volcanic lake of Bedugul. Stroll along the local orchid and fruit market and visit the botanical garden. The tour continues to the breathtaking valleys of rice paddies at Jatiluwih. Before returning, there is a final stop at the ancient, little known temple of Batu Karu, mysteriously hidden in lush vegetation.

THE TANAH LOT TRAIL
An excursion to Taman Ayun, the former Royal temple at Mengwi, the second largest complex on the island surrounded by a moat. Continue to Alas Kedaton, the holy monkey forest and the Tanah Lot temple, built on a rock overlooking the scenic west coast of Bali and the Indian Ocean. One of Bali�s best-known sites. In the afternoon, free at leisure.

THE KINTAMANI TRAIL
The highlight of this excursion is the magnificent view of the Batur volcano with its crater lake. First a stop is made in Celuk, the center of gold and silver works and then proceed to Mas, the village of art and handicraft. On to Tirta Empul, the holy spring water in Tampak Siring. Continue the trip to Kintamani enjoy the sceneary of breathtaking view over Lake Batur. Stop in Ubud to visit one of the many art galleries. Lastly, a visit to Tohpati, the batik centre.

THE DENPASAR TRAIL
Explore the capital of Bali by paying a visit to the Denpasar Museum and the central market, which offers a fascinating display of products. The diversity of the country is fully represented on three stories of stalls! Stroll along Sulawesi street, a treasure trove of colorful fabrics. See modern-day Bali by browsing in one of the department stores. Then, free at leisure.

THE EAST BALI TRAIL
A full day tour to explore the Karangasem Regency. Stop at the Goa Lawah Bat Cave. Visit the village of Tenganan, an original pre-Hindu settlement and still a stronghold of ancient traditions. Then proceed to Tirtagangga, a complex of water basins, fountains and statues built by the King of Karangasem on the site of a sacred spring. Return through a string of traditional villages and stop in Putung for the most impressive panorama of the eastern coast.
