City Life
Unlike other capital cities in the world, Rangoon is full of shade and trees- even large tree like teak finds Rangoon as its home. The city is a concentration of colonial architectural buildings, which function as government offices and luxury hotels these days. To see typical lifestyles of the locals, travelling outside Rangoon is not necessary. The city offers marvelous shopping for silverwares, artistic Sarongs, unique antiques, and wooden crafts. Though does not feature modern discos, Rangoon has attractive sidewalk stalls of beverages where most people gather to share their stories of lives.
Country Folk
Myanmar is home to various ethnicities that colour the countryside with their indigenous walks of life. Travelling from north to south- east to west, you will experience the similarity of friendly welcome of the locals, and, the differences of fantastic landscapes ranging from mountainous high rocks to calm lakes. As the country of pagodas, it is likely that you will come across numerous of them built in magnificent designs dotted around the country.
