pai gow. A strict dress code applies at Genting, prohibiting T-shirts, short sleeves shirt, shorts and sandals. While there are theoretical non-smoking zones, all casinos are covered in dense smoke.
Getting There:
By AirFly to Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The quickest way is to get to KL Sentral station by train and then connect to the bus from there to take you up to Genting Highlands.
By busThere are frequent buses from Kuala Lumpur, including the Puduraya bus terminal (depart every 30 minutes) and KL Sentral train station (depart hourly). Advance booking is recommended especially on weekends.
The bus journey takes one hour and cost RM8.30-8.50 each way (inclusive of cable car ride). Most bus terminates at the Skyway cable car station, with an extra 11-minute ride up to Genting. Buses departing after 20.00 will drop passengers off directly at the resort.
By carFrom Kuala Lumpur, take Karak Highway. Genting Highlands is about 40 minutes away by car.
