Hotel Review of Thipurai City Hotel

I stayed there with my friend in early July 2008, and I was very happy with the entire experience as was my friend. We had a suite overlooking the pool on a high floor, and it was quiet with a good size room that also had a small balcony with a table and chairs for those of you who smoke. The bathroom was very clean with warm water in the shower, and a great volume of water to shower with. I did my reservation on the internet, and everything was smooth as I wanted with that because no one likes a bad surprise or problems. The staff was polite and did well at their jobs, and the building is in a small quiet soi or street that is very close to many bars and restaurants as well as the beach with some restaurants open 24 hours that take only a few minutes to walk to like a MacDonald's and a Burger King. A Muay Thai boxing arena is very close that has fights on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and there are many of the small shops for shopping very close to the hotel. The breakfast in the restaurant in the hotel is good with many different things to eat, and there is a lot of food with fresh fruit and juice and coffee so I was happy for that too. Some customer that stayed there when I was there had a wheelchair that had no problems as there were the required ramp going in to the hotel. It takes about 5 minutes to get to the beach, and the beach was very wide and clean with only a few people walking around trying to sell various things. I will stay there again as this is a great value, and I had no problems there.
