Hotel Review of River View

The hotel itself was fine and there were pleasant views over the Singapore river at the back. Check-in was quick, the room clean, breakfast definitely international. Location was fair; it was off the beaten track as far as the MRT (train system) was concerned but there was a bus stop at the front of the hotel with a choice of four buses - 51, 64, 123 and, if I recall correctly, 186. We used the 51 most often as it took us direct to the city with abundant MRT stations. Everything in the room worked well and lifts were prompt.
Food and service were good though if you don't want to be awoken at 8 am by someone asking to clean your room best affix a "do not disturb" note on the door!
