Alright for a short stay

We knew from the reviews we had read that the room was going to be small and indeed it was. It is a slight exaggeration to say that there is not enough room for even the luggage - it is tight though. The showerroom and toilet was clean and of a very good standard. The bedroom was also clean. The air conditioning worked well which was essential after a day out in sticky Singapore. The only downside was a definite damp smell in the room but this may have just been that room only or every room - who knows. It was not surprising as the windows didn't open. The smell took some getting used to. We are unable to compare to any other hotel in Singapore as this was our first trip there. A big plus point is the free wired internet access in the room which was very useful.

The buffet breakfast was of a good standard catering for both continental and oriental cooked palates. Reception staff and the doorman were very helpful and welcoming. The location was convenient for town (only around 5 mins walk from the nearest MRT - Outram Park).

This hotel was fine for our 3 day stopover and value if you don't mind a small room.
