Hotel Review of Kind Villa Bintang Resort

I booked this hotel after reading several reviews. We had a lovely stay and we had good service from the staff, the rooms were comfortable and recently renovated and the gardens were beautiful. However, the management so fit to upgrade our companion couple to a suite and not us. I found this very upsetting at the time, particularly as I was the person who had booked and paid for the rooms, when I spoke with the management about this, all they did was moved us nearer our friends the following day (our friends graciously offered to share the suite, but that is not the point. (It could most certainly have caused friction with people who were not as close to their friends as we were, thank goodness). I found this really unacceptable, so would think twice about going there with family or friends in future.
