Vientiane is home to numerous beautiful temples of unique style. As the most “laid back” capital city in Southeast Asia, the town is embraced with non-busy surrounding and the friendliness of the locals. Amidst peaceful environment, both old and new colonial architectural buildings are dotted around the city alongside delicious Lao dishes and local beer. Though modern discotheques are unlikely to exist, Vientiane features lovely nightclubs and discos, which usually play Lao folk music or Western pop. At the discos, the locals enjoy dancing in Lao style, which is fun and beautiful to watch. Getting fine tribal crafts, fabrics, and jewellery is not a problem in a capital city of Laos. |

| A number of unspoiled natural wonders scattered all over the country – ranges from fertile alluvial land, forested landscapes, and resourceful rivers to the greatest waterfalls. In the countryside of Laos, houses are built in typical Lao style that cannot be seen anywhere else in the world, and, people still hold on to discreet manners, which looks attractive. In some part of the country, practiced Buddhists wake up early in the morning to offer alms to monks who gently accept their offerings wholeheartedly whereas hill tribes living around Laos perform their daily routines that their ancestors conducted. |
