Hue is an ancient capital city of Vietnam, located on the bank of Perfume River (Song Huong) in central part of the county. It was once the heart of the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945) and also the cultural centre of the land. Another place that worth a visit is a seven-story octagonal pagoda, Thien Mu Pagoda, which is said to be one of the most beautiful architectural structures in Vietnam.

Beside the historical spots in the city centre, you can also choose to enjoy a memorable experience cruising down the Perfume River on a Dragon boat. Or if you wish to learn about the infamous Vietnam War, the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) and Vinh Moc Tunnels are not so far away.
