This large province takes up 12,668 square kilometers and is located almost in the middle of Thailand, 346 kilometers from Bangkok. Phetchaboon borders on 3 regions, the North, the Central and the Northeast. The central part is on the Pa Sak river basin with mountain ranges running along both the western and eastern sectors.
