The Cambodian city, Phnom Penh is located in the area where Tonle Sap River meets with Mekhong River in the south-eastern part of the Cambodia. On a more miserably heart stopping side, Phonm Penh is the place that can give you traces of the cruel Khmer Rouge regime. Some of the horrific remnants can be seen at the infamous Choeung Ek Memorial (the Killing Fields), and Toul Sleng Genocide Museum - a school that turned into prison where thousands of innocent people were tortured and killed.
